A Cabin in the Woods

We decided against staying in a hotel for SAFF this year. The cost of renting a cabin was comparable, and the privacy and room afforded by a cabin were much preferable to a tiny hotel room.

We enjoyed staying at Mountain Springs Cabins. They are located in West Asheville, and it took us a good 30 minutes to drive to SAFF. It was worth it, though. Here's what our cabin looked like.


From the porch, we had a great view of a stream and meadow.


The front view of mountains was beautiful, too.


Had the weather been warmer, we would have enjoyed time relaxing on the porch.
